Short Bio
Seun Sangodoyin is an assistant professor at the school of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at Georgia Institute of Technology. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (Minor in Mathematics) from the University of Southern California (USC), Los Angeles in August 2018, M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from USC in 2009 and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Minor in Mathematics) from Oklahoma State University (OSU) in May 2007 . From November 2018 – August 2021, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Electromagnetic Measurements in Communications and Computing Lab — working with Georgia Tech ECE Professor Alenka Zajic. He joined the Ultrasound Imaging and Therapeutics Research Laboratory as a postdoctoral scholar in August 2021 — July 2022 working with Prof. Stanislav Emelianov (ECE/BME). Seun’s work is at the intersection of bioelectronics and wireless communication, biosensing circuit design, bioimaging devices and stochastic dynamical system modeling. His interest also spans multiple areas in bioengineering and life sciences ranging from cancer biology to drug delivery and residency devices, neuroengineering, biomaterials and subcutaneous implants.
